This verse is all about honesty and integrity. We must not think of kissing in the sense that most of us do. The word here for "kiss" actually means to "fasten up". In other words the one who gives an honest and correct answer makes others ready. Ready for what? Anything and everything. If we wish to make others ready, then we too must be in tune with the Lord. As I study more and more, I find that Christianity is about community. Solitude brings destruction on a man, but when he immerses himself into a community of believers, then he has strength.
